LONDON — On Thursday, Anna Wintour’s energy to convene stars from throughout in style tradition was on full show on the Theatre Royal Drury Lane within the West Finish, the place the Condé Nast title staged Vogue World London, a shiny six-act stage present overseen by Stephen Daldry, the British director behind Billy Elliot and The Crown, and Vogue’s artistic editorial director Mark Guiducci.

A comedy sketch by Damien Lewis, Cush Jumbo, James Corden, Sienna Miller and James McAvoy drew chuckles forward of a grand finale that includes Annie Lennox singing “Candy Goals (Are Fabricated from This)” and supermodels Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista.
The occasion was the second iteration of Vogue World, following a star-studded catwalk-performance in New York final September, and once more appeared to place trend — and the Vogue model — as a form of connective tissue between the worlds of music, movie, theatre and extra.
As with the New York occasion, the general public may purchase restricted tickets to Vogue World London. Members of the unique Vogue 100 membership have been additionally invited, together with artistic luminaries near Wintour, from John Galliano to Baz Luhrmann, and the likes of Jared Leto and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
